Information related to all payment cards (including credit, debit, P cards and Corporate Cards). This data type is governed by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and overseen by the UCD Credit Card Coordinator.
Anyone wishing to accept credit cards on the University’s behalf must first contact the UCD Credit Card Coordinator at merchantsupport@ucdavis.edu for approval in regards to any solution or process.
Credit Card Information cannot be stored in any electronic format.
- Cardholder name
- Credit/debit card account number
- Credit/debit card expiration date
- Credit/debit card verification number
- Credit/debit card security code
Restrictions listed here do not apply to your own personal credit card information. However, it is recommended that you follow the same precautions with regard to your own personal information as you would with university data.
